[holding answer 23 April 2009]: In October 2008 the Convergence Think Tank was superseded by the Digital Britain project. This project, which draws on the work done by the Convergence Think Tank and other reviews, will develop an action plan to secure the UK's place at the forefront of innovation, investment and quality in the digital and communications industries. The interim Digital Britain report was published on 29 January 2009 and the final report is due in the summer this year.
