To ask the Secretary of State for Communities and Local Government what recent assessment her Department has made of the merits of self-certification for fire certificates in light of the effect on businesses of the Corporate Manslaughter and Homicide Act 2007. (277363)

None. Fire certificates, as required by the 1971 Fire Precautions Act, were abolished in October 2006 with the introduction of the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005.
