The current number of pre-surplus staff (23 January 2009) is 2,849. The number of pre-surplus staff on maternity leave is 15. The total number of staff pre-surplus for at least six months is 1,071 and there are 661 who have been pre-surplus for more than 12 months.

To ask the Secretary of State for Health how many children were drug dependent at birth in each region in each of the last five years; and what the numbers of such children in the case of each type of drug were.
