In 2006-07 total waste arising from the Foreign and Commonwealth Office's UK estate was 1,797 tonnes, equating to 0.47 tonnes per full-time equivalent member of staff (FTE). The 2007-08 total was 1,212 tonnes, equating to 0.32 tonnes per FTE.
