To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department how much was spent on travel and accommodation by the Serious and Organised Crime Agency in each of the last three years. (278441)

The Serious Organised Crime Agency's expenditure on all its travel and accommodation in the UK and overseas for each of the last three years was:

These costs were incurred necessarily in the delivery of the agency's functions. During the three years 2006-07 to 2008-09, SOCA had approximately 4,000 members of staff of whom approximately 140 were based overseas.
