To ask the Secretary of State for Communities and Local Government whether his Department plans to amend Local Government Pension Scheme regulations to remove the requirement to fully fund all promised pension benefits. (290423)

The pension entitlements of members of the Local Government Pension Scheme are guaranteed under the scheme's provisions. There are no plans to change that position nor the current solvency requirement in the regulations.
