As the Government’s response to the Culture, Media and Sport Select Committee suggested, we are currently looking at options for a portable licence for travelling entertainment such as circuses. Once we have developed these further, we will announce a timetable for progressing our proposals, including any necessary public consultation. In the meantime, I would be happy to meet the hon. Member to discuss how we can ensure that the views of circuses are fed into the development of these options.
