I am pleased to announce the publication of the “Guide to Parliamentary Work”. The aim of the guide is to aid the understanding of parliamentary business and to promote best practice across Government Departments. The guide responds to recommendations contained in the Procedure Committee report on written parliamentary questions suggesting greater accessibility to central guidance in this area.
