GCSE and GCE A-Level: Young Offenders

To ask the Minister of State, Department for Business, Innovation and Skills pursuant to the answer of 27 October 2009, Official Report, column 342W, on GCSE and GCE A-level: young offenders, how many of the enrolments for (a) GCSE and (b) GCE A-level examinations related to offenders aged (i) 15 to 21, (ii) 22 to 30, (iii) 31 to 40, (iv) 41 to 50 and (v) over 50 years. For the most recent academic year for which data are available, the number of enrolments on GCSE and GCE A/AS/A2 level by offenders in the secure estate by age range is given in the following table:
