Warm Homes and Energy Conservation Act 2000

To ask the Secretary of State for Energy and Climate Change what progress the Government have made on meeting the targets stipulated in the Warm Homes and Energy Conservation Act 2000 during (a) 2008 and (b) 2009; and if he will make a statement. (300809)

The Warm Homes and Energy Conservation Act 2000 required the publication of a strategy to include

“a target date for achieving the objective of ensuring that as far as reasonably practicable persons in England or Wales do not live in fuel poverty.”
