To ask the Minister of State, Department for Transport with reference to the answer of 9 November 2009, Official Report, columns 56-8W, on railways: standards, if he will provide a table showing the number of trains cancelled by each train operating company in each of the last five years given as a percentage of all trains scheduled to run; and if he will provide the same information in respect of peak hour trains in London and the South East. [holding answer 24 November 2009]: The table requested is as follows, showing the number of trains cancelled by each franchised train operator in each of the last five years as a percentage of all trains scheduled to run. Data are given for the five most recent financial years, including 2009-10 up to October 2009.
