Asylum: Yorkshire and the Humber

To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department how many asylum seekers living in (a) the City of York and (b) Yorkshire and the Humber received support from public funds in each year since 2002. (304506)

The following table shows the number of asylum seekers in receipt of support in City of York and Yorkshire and the Humber at the end of each year between 2002 and 2008.

Information on immigration and asylum, including asylum seekers in receipt of support, are published annually and quarterly.
