Yes. Auditors from the European Court of Auditors and the European Commission carry out audits on English ERDF programmes. This is to ensure that they are managed in compliance with the financial control requirements of the European Commission Regulations and Directives. Their audit reports are sent to this Department, as Managing Authority for the programmes.
