To ask the Minister for the Cabinet Office how many and what proportion of the invoices submitted to (a) her Department and (b) the Prime Minister's Office have been paid within 10 days in each month since October 2005; and if she will make a statement. (308014)

Data recording invoices paid within 10 days of receipt have been kept only since November 2008. This followed the Prime Minister’s announcement, in October 2008, that in future Government Departments would aim to pay invoices within 10 days. The following data relate to the Cabinet Office as a whole (the Prime Minister’s Office forms an integral part of the Cabinet Office):
