To ask the Secretary of State for Energy and Climate Change what the cost to the public purse was of his Department’s ‘Bedtime Story’ advertisements. (308699)

The cost of the climate literacy campaign (including the television adverts known as ‘Bedtime Story’) which formed part of the Department’s Act on CO2 initiative is budgeted at approximately £5.75 million. This includes production and media costs and creative development research. The climate literacy campaign phase began in October 2009 and ends January 2010.
