To ask the Secretary of State for Energy and Climate Change pursuant to the answer of 13 January 2010, Official Report, columns 1045-8W, on departmental internet, how many staff worked on each listed website (a) in each of the last three years and (b) on the latest date for which figures are available. (311920)

[holding answer 19 January 2010]: The DECC corporate site:

www.decc.gov.uk

was launched on 23 February 2009. 1.5 full-time equivalent members of staff worked on the website at the time of launch in 2008-09. 3.5 members of staff are working on the website as of 19 January 2010.

The majority of other sites run by the Department are resourced entirely by outside agencies and require/have required no departmental staff involvement.
