The Department of Energy and Climate Change (DECC) was created in October 2008 bringing together staff from Department for Business, Enterprise and Regulatory Reform (BERR) and Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs (DEFRA). Each Department had a separate legacy appraisal system. The number of performance reviews carried out for staff in DECC under those legacy arrangements since that date are shown in the following table.
