To ask the Secretary of State for Health how much was spent on (a) management, (b) administration and (c) estates staff by each (i) strategic health authority, (ii) primary care trust, (iii) NHS trust and (iv) non-departmental public body for which his Department is responsible in each year since 1997. The information in respect of strategic health authorities, primary care trusts and NHS trusts has been placed in the Library. The Department holds information at organisation level for seven years, therefore 2002-03 is the earliest period for which figures are available.
