To ask the Minister for Women and Equality what recent representation she has received on the wearing of burqas in public. (313814)

The Government Equalities Office has not had any recent representations on the wearing of burqas in public, however it was raised with my hon. Friend the Minister of State, Government Equalities Office at the Communities and Local Government Select Committee on 25 January 2010.
