To ask the Secretary of State for Scotland how many and what proportion of staff in his Department are disabled; and what the average salary in his Department is of (a) full-time disabled staff, (b) full-time non-disabled staff, (c) part-time disabled staff and (d) part-time non-disabled staff. Staff in the Scotland Office are on secondment from the Scottish Executive or on assignment from the Ministry of Justice (MoJ) who retain any self- declared and voluntary information on disability. The Office's annual report for 2008-09 indicates that we have a small number of staff with disabilities but, for privacy reasons, the actual numbers are considered confidential.
