To ask the Secretary of State for Communities and Local Government what estimate he has made of the amount of area-based grant funding to be distributed to local authorities in (a) 2009-10, (b) 2010-11 and (c) 2011-12. (317983)

The amounts of area-based grant announced for 2009-10 and 2010-11 are £3,280,108,374 and £4,818,317,187 respectively.

Decisions about the amount of area-based grant in 2011-12 have not yet been made.
