Departmental Temporary Employment

To ask the Secretary of State for Communities and Local Government which companies were contracted by his Department for the provision of temporary staff in each of the last three years; how many temporary staff were employed by his Department in each such year; and what the monetary value was of contracts with each such company in each such year. (317994)

[holding answer 22 February 2010]: The Department has used several suppliers over the last three years for the provision of temporary and agency staff. The monetary value of individual contracts could be disaggregated only at a disproportionate cost.
