To ask the Secretary of State for Communities and Local Government which companies were contracted by his Department for the provision of temporary staff in each of the last three years; how many temporary staff were employed by his Department in each such year; and what the monetary value was of contracts with each such company in each such year. [holding answer 22 February 2010]: The Department has used several suppliers over the last three years for the provision of temporary and agency staff. The monetary value of individual contracts could be disaggregated only at a disproportionate cost.
