The Department does not collect information from local authorities on repayments in respect of losses on investments in Icelandic banks. The Resolution Committee for Landsbanki and Glitnir and the UK administrators of Heritable and Kaupthing, Singer and Friedland Ltd. have published information on likely rates of return. Local authorities are in direct contact with these administrators.
