To ask the Secretary of State for Communities and Local Government pursuant to the answer of 11 January 2010, Official Report, column 769W, on national insurance contributions: local government, what the estimated cost to local authorities is of the increase in employer contributions in 2011-12; and whether funding will be allocated to local authorities for the purposes of meeting the cost of that increase.
