Truancy: Salford

To ask the Secretary of State for Children, Schools and Families what the unauthorised absence rate was for pupils in Salford in (a) 1997 and (b) 2009. (317385)

The available information is shown in the table for 1996/97 and 2007/08. Information for 2008/09 is expected to be published in spring 2010.
