The OGC maintains a central register that records the relocation of civil service posts from London and the south-east. Where known this also records the movement of posts back into the area and these are netted off from the published relocation totals. The figures provided in the answer of 5 February 2010, Official Report, column 621W, are net of 1,025 MOD posts, both military and civilian, which are known to have relocated into the south-east.
