Letter of correction from Ms Rosie Winterton:

An error has been identified in the written answer given to the hon. Member for Falmouth and Camborne (Julia Goldsworthy) on 22 February 2010. I have notified the MP of the error.

The error was in the 3rd line of the answer and read 797,100 when it should have been 385,815.

The full answer given was as follows. (317910)

Between 2000-01 and 2007-08 (the last year for which audited accounts are available) NDC Partnerships reported that they have spent £1,559 million in grant funding. The latest figures available estimate that there were 797,100 people living in NDC areas in 2007.
