Social Rented Housing: Overcrowding

To ask the Secretary of State for Communities and Local Government what his most recent assessment is of the appropriateness of statutory standards on overcrowding in social housing. (321605)

The Government are committed to addressing overcrowding and to updating the statutory standards.

The £15 million overcrowding pathfinder programme is helping both to develop effective strategies for tackling overcrowding, and to build evidence to support updating of the statutory standards.
