I refer the hon. Gentleman to the answer of 14 December 2009, Official Report, column 806W, on departmental internet.

To ask the Secretary of State for International Development how many designs for its (a) internal website and (b) intranet his Department has commissioned since 2005; and what the cost was of each such design. (321985)

The Department for International Development (DFID) has commissioned one intranet (internal website) design since 2005 at a cost of £1,850. This redesign was necessary to accompany an upgrade of the content management system.
