17. To ask the Chancellor of the Exchequer what recent representations he has received on the basic rate of income tax; and if he will make a statement. (322201)

Treasury Ministers and officials receive representations from a wide range of organisations and individuals. As was the case with previous Administrations, it is not the Government’s practice to provide details of all such representations.

To ask the Chancellor of the Exchequer how many and what proportion of those in receipt of (a) working tax credit only, (b) child tax credit only and (c) working tax credit and child tax credit pay (i) standard rate and (ii) higher rate income tax. (318389)
