To ask the Minister of State, Department for Business, Innovation and Skills what assessment he has made of the Office of Fair Trading's recent recommendation against the introduction of further regulation of estate agents. (323284)

The Office of Fair Trading (OFT) published its market study report on “Home buying and selling” on 18 February 2010.

I am grateful to the OFT for its report. We will consider the recommendations which have been addressed to the Government and publish a response in due course.
