To ask the Secretary of State for Health how many (a) community mental health teams and (b) members of community health teams there have been in each London borough in each year since 2000; and how much funding his Department has allocated to community mental health teams in each such borough in each such year. Local data prior to 2007 are not available. Data provided are from 2007 to 2009 for each primary care trust (PCT) area. The Department does not break down PCT revenue allocations by policies, at either the national or local level. It is for PCTs to decide their priorities for investment locally taking into account both local priorities and the “NHS Operating Framework”.
