[holding answer 30 March 2010]: In Budget 2010 the Welsh Assembly Government received an additional £48 million in 2010-11 as Barnett consequentials of increases in spending of UK Departments. Budgets for 2011-12 onwards will be set in the next spending review in the usual way.
Budget 2010 announced an increase of £48 million for the Welsh Assembly Government in 2010-11. The Welsh Assembly Government's budget plans for 2010-11 are set out in Table C11 of the Budget 2010 Report (HC 451). The final outturn for 2010-11 will not be known until spring 2011.
The departmental expenditure limits for the Welsh Assembly Government will be determined in the next spending review in the usual way.
