International Baccalaureate

To ask the Secretary of State for Children, Schools and Families how many and what proportion of students who completed an International Baccalaureate course did not achieve a diploma in the latest year for which figures are available; and if he will make a statement. (325305)

3,316 students aged 16-18 completed an International Baccalaureate (IB) course in all schools and FE colleges in 2008/09. Of those, 441 (13 per cent.) did not achieve a diploma.
