Moved, That this House do attend this day at St. Margaret's, Westminster, to give thanks to Almighty God on the occasion of the cessation of hostilities owing to the acceptance by Germany of the terms of Armistice imposed upon her by the Allies and the United States of America.—( Viscount Midleton.)
