My Lords, I beg to ask the Question which stands in my name on the Order Paper.

[The Question was as follows:

To ask Her Majesty's Government how much longer they expect the very popular motor route into London which runs round the south and west sides of Clapham Common to be blocked by road works.]

My Lords, the motor route into London which runs round the south and west sides of Clapham Common was reopened to traffic last Wednesday.

My Lords, I thank the noble Lord for his information, which will be greeted with great joy by those who frequently and those who infrequently use it.
