asked Her Majesty's Government:Whether they will state the names and addresses of persons or firms to whom licences have been granted during the past year to export more than 1,000 live animals to EEC countries for slaughter.

It is not the practice to disclose such information, on the grounds that it may be commercially prejudicial to the interests of the firms concerned in respect of their competitors.House adjourned at twelve minutes past seven o'clock.
