Moved, That the Bill do now pass. —( Lord Lyell.)

My Lords, I must thank the noble Lord who is moving the passage of this Bill. I have heard from his noble friend, who I regret to hear is ill, and he has answered all the points that I raised at the Report stage. It is now up to citizens of Dundee to ensure that what they want is carried out.

My Lords, my noble friend Lord Mansfield is indisposed this evening. Indeed, he has lost his voice, and that is the reason why I am moving the Motion now before your Lordships. I shall pass on to him the kind words spoken by my noble friend. As a great dog lover, may I say that I am sure that the citizens of Dundee will, through their elected representatives and their council, take all the steps that are necessary to see that dogs do not misbehave in the manner that is set out in, I think, paragraph 4 of the schedule? I know that my noble friend Lord Mansfield will be very grateful for the kind words spoken by my noble friend Lord de Clifford.

On Question, Bill passed.

My Lords, I beg to move that the House do now adjourn during pleasure until eight o'clock.

Moved accordingly, and, on Question, Motion agreed to.

[ The Sitting was suspended from 7.11 to 8 p.m.]
