Lord DENHAM
My Lords, it may be for the convenience of your Lordships if I announce that dinner will be available this evening at the usual time. Depending on progress this afternoon, it is suggested that the Committee stage of the Civil Aviation Bill should be adjourned at approximately 7 o'clock for about 40 minutes. I say "approximately 7 o'clock", because there is sometimes a little difficulty in getting the time exact. If, for instance, one is embarking on a rather important amendment, it is a question of either rising at ten minutes to the suggested time or, possibly, at a quarter past. So I hope noble Lords will appreciate that "approximately" means approximately.
