Lord MACKAY of CLASHFERN
My Lords, I beg to move that this House doth agree with the Commons in their Amendment No. 134. This is a minor amendment which sets out the procedure for the abandonment at an early stage of appeals against sentences in summary cases. It is a useful addition to what is presently in the Bill.
Moved, That this House doth agree with the Commons in the said amendment.—( Lord Mackay of Clashfern.)
On Question, Motion agreed to.
