asked Her Majesty's Government:Whether they can ensure that there will be sufficient staff to maintain a safe level of care on the wards of the Ida Darwin Hospital, Cambridge, in the future.

The provision of services at the Ida Darwin Hospital, Cambridge is a matter for the Cambridgeshire Area Health Authority (Teaching).I am assured, however, that the standard of care provided at the hospital will not be allowed to fall below a safe level.
