3.5 p.m.

My Lords, at a convenient moment after 3.30 p.m. this afternoon my noble friend Lord Glenarthur will, with the leave of the House, repeat a Statement that is to be made in another place on opticians and competition.

It may also be for the convenience of the House if I announce that dinner will be available at the usual time this evening. The Committee stage of the Agricultural Holdings Bill will be adjourned at approximately 7 o'clock for approximately one hour, and during this adjournment six legal aid orders will be taken.
