My Lords, I beg to introduce a Bill to amend the Gaming Act 1968 with respect to the advertising of bingo. Under the procedures of the House, only one name may be attached to the Bill at this stage. However, the noble Lord, Lord Mason of Barnsley, has indicated his willingness to be associated with it. I beg to move that this Bill be now read a first time.

Moved, That the Bill be now read a first time.—(Lord Harmar-Nicholls.)

On Question, Bill read a first time, and to be printed.
