Netherlands—Uk: Fraud Laws

asked Her Majesty's Government:Whether the law relating to fraud in Holland is deemed to be as effective as the law in the United Kingdom.

The Government have made no study of the comparative effectiveness of the law relating to fraud in the Netherlands and the United Kingdom.

Domestic Employment: Working Hours

asked Her Majesty's Government:What legislation is now in force limiting the daily or weekly hours that may be worked in domestic employment.

Hours of work are a matter for negotiation and agreement between domestic workers and their employers.

Civil Service: Performance Related Pay

asked Her Majesty's Government:On what date performance related pay was introduced into the Civil Service.

Although elements of performance related pay have been a feature of civil service pay arrangements for some time, comprehen-sive performance related schemes were first introduced in 1991 for Grades 2 and 3, and 1992 for Grades 5 to 7, and are currently being introduced in the rest of the Civil Service. The Top Salaries Review Body will evaluate the operation of the Grades 2 to 3 scheme as part of its 1994 review.
