asked Her Majesty's Government:How many persons in England and Wales were

(a) charged and (b) convicted of domestic violence for each of the last five years for which figures are available.

The information requested is not available centrally. Statistics on sentencing held by the Home Office do not separately identify offences of domestic violence, nor do they identify the relationship of the victim to the offender.
