asked Her Majesty's Government:Whether they have considered buying from the United States either "spy quality satellite images" or the "satellites that produce them", whether to their knowledge the recently launched Israeli "spy satellite" was purchased from the US, and whether such sales and purchases are regulated by the Missile Technology Control Regime.

Details of any procurement arrangement which Israel may have with the United States are a matter for the governments concerned. Satellites are not regulated by the Missile Technology Control Regime. It is not my department's practice to comment on the other matters raised in this question.
