My right honourable friend the Minister of State at the Home Office (Mr Boateng) has agreed that in future the Charity Commission's Annual Report should be prepared on a financial year basis, rather than a calendar year basis. As a transitional measure, the next Annual Report will cover the 15-month period, 1 January 1999–31 March 2000, and should be published this autumn.
