Whether, following the depiction of a red squirrel on the Chancellor of the Exchequer’s Christmas card, they propose to increase commitment and the availability of additional funding to the work being done to save the native red squirrel in the United Kingdom. [HL297]

The inclusion of a red squirrel on the Chancellor’s Christmas card is of no significance to our considerable efforts to preserve the red squirrel, other than to remind us how much the red squirrel is appreciated.
