asked Her Majesty's Government:

Whether they have made an assessment of the likely impact of the resignation of John Bolton, the United States ambassador to the United Nations, on (a) actions at the United Nations towards other member states, and (b) relations between the United Kingdom and the United States. [HL628]

The resignation of John Bolton, US ambassador to the United Nations, is a matter for the US Government, and it would not be appropriate for the UK to comment. The UK and US Governments work closely together across the range of issues at the United Nations.
