Whether they will provide a breakdown of the persons detained at Harmondsworth immigration removal centre on 27 November 2006 showing the average length of detention under Immigration Act powers and the nationalities of those detained (a) for fast tracking, (b) for removal or deportation following a custodial sentence for a criminal offence and (c) others, distinguishing separately where appropriate those who had claimed asylum at any stage. On 27 November 2006 there were 494 persons detained at Harmondsworth immigration removal centre. The remainder of the information requested is not held centrally and could be obtained only by examination of individual records at disproportionate cost.
